The idea is simple. The food tray is divided into a number of individual sections for your dog's food, so they can't simply hoover the lot up on one go.
The main section of the food tray includes a lick pad which you can smear with all kinds of goodies and dog friendly pastes to really get your dog excited and busy. You could even try some cooling summer treats like frozen yoghurt. 
Each feeder has two standard bowls (85ml x 2), two with gulp-stoppers (70ml x 2), and one mini-meal area (190ml) which separates food into numerous smaller compartments to help to slow done your dog's eating.
